Hand on Heart Care Packs
Aim: To provide care packs containing items such as deodorant, body wash, toothpaste, tooth brushes, body wipes, sanitary pads, water, toilet paper, soap, and shampoo for families, homeless people, and individuals who can’t afford to purchase these items for themselves.

Date: Spring 2018 - Spring 2019
How it will work: We will collect donations of items from students at school, local supermarkets and businesses, then they will be packed into bags once a month. The care packs are distributed to individuals on the street, through word of mouth, and through the Under the Stars charity in Tauranga (always with my parents!).
Volunteers Needed:
+ 5x kids to help pack & deliver bags once a month (approx 2 hours)
+ 1x person to approach businesses for discounted product (time varies)
Once our volunteer target is met, the funding needed is:
+ $500 from Help Me Help Them
How we're tracking...
This section will be updated to show how we are tracking with volunteer pledges as we progress. Once the target is reached, the plan will be reviewed and funding will be released for the project to go ahead.
